"Why Stupid Elephant"
Let me start by saying I in no way think elephants are stupid. I know that they are very intelligent creatures. Stupid Elephant comes from a story told to me by my good friend Grand FunkMaster DJ Evers. The story goes something like this. Grand FunkMaster DJ Evers' mother was a school teacher (now retired, not that other thing). She had taken her class to the zoo for their annual trip. As they view the elephants one boy made the comment "Look at that stupid elephant standing in the muddy water".

Submitted by citizenhumes on Tue, 12/04/2007 - 09:13.If you didn't make it to the wedding, what an amazing event you missed. The Rachel and Austin were spectacular in all of their Bride and Groomdom! The Miner's Foundry looked amazing. Thanks you Linda, Margie, Randal and Randy, Mom Jan and Gail, my sisters Deb and Gail, Leo and Marcia, and Scott and Brian for all of your help. Scott of Cardell Catering provided a gourmet feast for all. Thanks again for all who attended and helped. You made a special day a moment in time to remember.
Baby Lillian is due any day now. Rachel is ready. I will keep you posted on that one.

I Haven't Forgotten
Submitted by citizenhumes on Wed, 09/12/2007 - 18:35.Just a heads up to let you know I haven't forgotten about the Stupid Elephant site. Work and home have been crazy. I will get caught up in the next few weeks and I will post some photos after Austin and Rachel's wedding.

It's On!

Oh did I mention that it's going to be a girl?!
What's with the Citizen thing?

This means every act of compassion , indifference or hate has a rippling effect in ourselves, family, and community.
